How It Works

Select Remote Blog Writing Service at the Lure shop. Choose your word count, and then fill out the prompts in the form. Our quick questionnaire is designed to help you create a short brief. You can go into as little or as much detail as you want.

Despite the impersonal nature of a submission form, we’ll make your experience as personalised as possible. Your answers will help us understand your unique tone of voice and content objectives, and we’ll do our own research too by checking out your website and socials. We also won’t hesitate to reach out for clarifications to ensure we have our facts straight!

Once we receive your form submission, we’ll get started that very same business day (according to Australian Eastern Standard Time). Your custom blog post will be delivered as a PDF to your nominated inbox in three business days.

What’s Included

The blog post will be sent as a PDF file, including:

  • A headline

  • A URL suggestion

  • Body copy (word count specified at time of purchase)

  • Text formatting best suited to the content (e.g. sub-headings, layout)

  • Meta data*

Our pricing and timeframe also allows our team to conduct independent research, primarily keyword tracking and fact-checking. Here’s an insight into how we write SEO blog posts so you can understand more about what goes into crafting your blog post.

Please note that our service does not include design and the articles will not contain images. In some cases, we might make image suggestions.

*Meta Data is the seperate title and description that will be visible in Google Search. It’s important for your SEO strategy. Every website builder should have space to add this in when uploading your blog post.

FAQ

  • When you purchase your blog post, you’ll be asked to fill out a form to help us understand your brand, align with your content goals, and ultimately put together a brief. This includes:

    • The concept, theme or working title of the post (i.e. what it’s about)

    • Any keywords, products, or services you want to target

    • Your website URL and email address

    • Any notes on your ideal target audience

    • Your preferred writing style (i.e. informative, casual, a mix of both?)

    • A brief: the purpose of the post, how you’ll be using it, content inspirations…

If for some reason your writer uncovers some gaps in the brief during the three days, they’ll always reach out for clarification before the deadline. Please note that if the deadline is about to lapse before we hear back from you, we’ll still send you a final draft. Per your response, we’ll make any changes needed free of charge — as the request for additional information came from our end :)

  • Each blog article we deliver is intended as a final draft — we’d never sign off on something that wasn’t completed to the highest possible quality.

However, you can add a round of revisions to your purchase if you’d like the option to provide feedback. This means that once we send your PDF, you can request changes. Please include all requests in one email.

Your writer will respond to these directly and deliver the final draft within another 3 business days. Depending on the extent of revisions, this may be subject to extra time (and you’ll be notified beforehand if so).

As this could involve a bit of back-and-forth emailing between you and your writer, keep in mind that delays in your responses may push the deadline back!

Note that there are no refunds if you pay for the revision add-on but don’t end up supplying any feedback.

  • Blog posts are an essential part of SEO, or Search Engine Optimisation; the digital marketing strategy that helps your website rank at (or near) the top of search engine results pages (SERPs) for relevant search terms. This increases the number of visitors to your website, and can lead to an increase in sales.

Blog posts mainly do this by: targeting keywords, helping with link building, and telling Google that your website is active. Active websites rank higher, because Google assumes hey have the latest, most relevant information for audiences.

We wrote a more in-depth exploration into how blogs are crucial to your brand’s visibility if you’re curious.

  • You can, but Google might penalise you. The thing with Google’s search algorithm is that it doesn’t often rank AI-generated content highly. This is because the quality of the content that AI generates is usually quite generic — and simply not as good as something written by a human.

The thing is, ChatGPT is only as good as the prompt you give it. Finding the right words can be harder than you think; it’s not as simple as ‘write me a blog post on XYZ’.

Similarly, AI can only generate responses based on the sources it can find online. If there isn’t much source material on the internet to draw on, it can’t turn to real life for inspiration, like humans can.

This leads to the most important point of all: that you can’t turn AI into a copywriter simply by forcing it to read a bunch of books or articles. We can never be as fast, cheap, or readily available as a free online chatbot. But if it’s quality you value; then our writers have a vast capacity for creativity and emotional depth that you can’t get from a robot.

If you trust us with your project, you’re trusting writers who’ve spent their professional lives meeting and exceeding the highest expectations.
