The business
Souszy is an online retailer offering lingerie, sleepwear and loungewear. The brand was founded by one of Lure’s co-directors, before being handed over to new owners in 2023. The following case study outlines our process of creating and implementing an e-commerce digital marketing strategy from scratch.
The brief
Entering a competitive market, Souszy needed to build brand awareness and a loyal customer base to compete with established retailers and mega brands. Our main goal was to create a website that ranked highly on search engines, grow a social media following, curate content that converted interest into action, and manage EDM outreach.

With hundreds products from over 30 brands, Souszy’s website needed to be functional and SEO-focused. We built a user-friendly layout on Shopify and wrote all the copy, including a blog portal and original product descriptions. Now, the site ranks on the first page of Google for important keywords like ‘panties’ and ‘lace underwear’. As of our final report, the highest acquisition for customers shopping on Souszy was through Organic Search.

The goal for Souszy’s socials was to increase website traffic. This started with building interest prior to the launch and nurturing follower growth. Then, it was about curating a brand persona using both original content and assets from the product designers. A highlight was designing and marketing an influencer collaboration with Abbie Chatfield.

Our overarching strategy included growing Souszy’s EDM database with content that encouraged customers to subscribe to newsletters. We ran promotional, seasonal, customized, lead nurturing, and automated campaigns that directed traffic to the website and socials.
